As you step into the Boboli Gardens, it feels as if time stands still. The atmosphere is peaceful and timeless, offering a serene escape from the bustle of the city. Originally created by the powerful Medici family for their own enjoyment, the gardens were designed to reflect their wealth and taste. Over the centuries, the gardens have been carefully preserved, and today visitors can experience the same sense of grandeur that nobles once enjoyed. The sprawling grounds are filled with impressive sculptures, fountains, and hidden corners, each offering a glimpse into the past.
The Boboli Gardens are a remarkable example of how nature and human creativity can coexist harmoniously. The gardens’ design incorporates both natural elements and artistic features, such as elaborate statues, manicured paths, and grand vistas. One of the most unique aspects of the gardens is the ancient quarry beneath them, a feature that ties the space to its historical roots. It’s a place where the beauty of nature is carefully shaped and enhanced by human craftsmanship, creating a truly unforgettable experience.
Whether you're an art lover, history enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates natural beauty, the Boboli Gardens offer a rich, immersive experience that’s not to be missed during your time in Florence.

Aida was INCREDIBLE!!! We spent two weeks in Florence and Rome for our honeymoon and this walking tour was one of the absolute highlights. She was so knowledgeable and gave a full history lesson in addition to highlighting local sites. I’d recommend this to anyone traveling to Florence as a must-do!!

We did two tours with Aida in one day. Actually, we booked a morning tour, following which we immediately decided to book an evening tour. She is extremely knowledgeable about anything that has to do with the history and art of Florence and the whole of Italy. You simply ask the question- and the answer is there, she knows it all. The tours are done in excellent English, with proper stops for rest and refreshments. I can't recommend her highly enough for anyone who wants to dive a bit deeper into the history of this magical city. Thank you, Aida! We did two tours with Aida in one day. Aida was absolutely fabulous! She was not only extremely knowledgeable but also a wonderfully funny storyteller, perfectly timing our breaks throughout the tour. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learned so much about Florence and its rich history!

Aida was truly an exceptional guide — more than that, she delivered a master class. Her deep command of art history, politics, and world history was evident in every stop, and she has a rare gift for distilling complex ideas into clear, memorable insights. I’ve taken many walking tours around the globe, but this was by far the best. If you’re lucky enough to join one of her tours, don’t miss the opportunity.

AMAZING TOUR!!! I booked the intro to Florence tour with Aida and absolutely loved it! Full of personality and super useful information, I booked her second tour, the longer one about the Medici family immediately after I finished the first one! I would definitely recommend to anyone who has any interest in history at all! She also takes you to beautiful sites as well and has lots of useful information for tourists about authentic food spots too!
