We had a wonderful day. We had a double Vespa and a scooter. Wonderful to be riding through the countryside of the Chianti region. Had a wonderful lunch followed by wine and olive oil tasting. Ila was a wonderful guide. My teenager came with us as a passenger on the Vespa and made her day! Thank you!
We are now back from our trip to Italy, and I cannot wait another day to express our gratefulness to our fantastic tour guide…Heather. He is a very communicative, outgoing and enthusiastic person with a great personality. He shared knowledge in an engaging, interactive and definitely entertaining way. We did the Vespatour including wine and olive-oil tasting and a Tuscan Meal. We were suprised by how good the day was organised. We really loved the tourguides (Haider, Ila and busdriver Cristiano), they made a beautiful day absolutly amazing! The busdriver drove us from the center of Florence to a nice place just outside Florence. There we learnt how to drive a Vespa. After that we did a nice tour with some stops. After, we brought the Vespas back and walked to the farm where wine and olive oil is made. There is a nice restaurant where we had lunch and the tastings. We had an amazing day in Tuscany! Thanks Haider and Ilaria for the stories, pictures and talks, we had so much fun!
My daughter and I just enjoyed the Vespa tour of Tuscany. It was wonderful. The guides were friendly, caring and knowledgeable. They made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. They even took pictures for the group. The winery they took us to for lunch, wine and olive oil tasting was wonderful. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this tour with Towns of Italy. It was the highlight of our trip.
Tours of Italy - Chianti Wine & Olive Oil Tasting We had a great time visiting three wineries that included wine and olive oil tastings, paired with meats and cheeses. Our guide, Francesca was wonderful. She kept us informed and entertained throughout the tour. And our driver Joccamo did a great job getting us safely to our destinations, in challenging driving conditions. We did return one hour late, through no fault of our guides. It is Italy, and delays can happen on a long duration tour like this one.
