Erg leuke tour met een erg leuke en kundige gids: Frederique vertelde heel veel op een erg enthousiaste manier, en ook de vragen over allerlei Spaanse dingen (wonen, reizen, veiligheid, etcetera) wist ze alles van. De fietsen zijn erg goed, wij werden samengevoegd met mensen in een riksja ook dat ging goed. Samengevat: best kostbaar maar zeker de moeite waard!
We took the free walking tour as a group of 6. Our guide, Michele, was fantastic! Super knowledgeable about his city, Bari. We learned so much in our two hours and highly recommend this tour.
BEST TOUR EVER - I have to say that we’ve been to 12 European countries and probably a hundred Cities in the last 4 years and done tours in nearly all of them. This experience was exceptional and our guide ADRIANO, a lifelong local, knew every nook and cranny and was able to impart his knowledge and experience. It was evident that he was well known and respected by the locals who greeted him in a positive manner. He was polite to everyone on the tour and off. He is such a credit to this tour company. The fact that we were shown the real Bari, not the cringey , contrived Instagram stuff was such a relief. I love the business model that a free tour is offered, but you get to choose what you wish to pay. They take cash, or card. Prior to going on the tour I would have thought to pay a small gratuity. After the tour was finished, I excitedly queued to pay €40 for such a fabulous experience, which in hindsight I actually feel is inadequate in comparison to our other experiences even though we are from Australia and we have to basically double the cost of everything because of the exchange rate and it’s expensive for us to travel in Europe.
The tour was amazing! Miguel shared many interesting facts about Bari, and immersed us even more in the city. At the end, he gave everyone a list with many recommendations and tips in the area, which was super nice. I highly recommend the tour!
Fabio was our guide and we really enjoyed our "The First" tour with him. He had extensive knowledge about the history of Bari (and made it interactive with his game!) and gave us wonderful insight into the people who live in this lovely city. We've done a few walking tours around Europe and my teenager says "Fabio is one of the best guides we've ever had!"
Fabio was fantastic, with great communication, huge knowledge of Bari, engaging and answered any and all questions comprehensively. It is a lovely way to get to know not only the history but also the layout of the old city. We will now go back to the key sights to explore in detail. It's really worth doing, we have done these tours in many cities around the world and have never been disappointed.
Whilst we enjoyed the tour it wasn’t the best we have done. It felt like we kept cycling around the same places and we had all the food at the end rather than at different spots throughout the 3 hours. It also seemed very unorganised on what food we were tasting and there was very little explanation on what we were eating/the history etc.
