Velo Service is simply amazing. We used Velo Service to rent e-bikes and advise us and guide us on our journey. They also took care of our luggage transportation and made sure it met us every night. Theresa was very helpful and put up with our million questions prior to our departure. What started out as a dream on paper turned into reality and we can’t stop talking about it. If fact we’re already talking about doing this again. Thank you so much Velo Service. We will be back.

Our walking food tour in Bari, Italy was an absolute highlight of our trip, thanks to our fabulous guide, Chiara. From the moment we met her, she brought so much energy and warmth to the group, making us feel instantly welcome. Her passion for her hometown was contagious, and it showed in every story she told about Bari’s rich history, vibrant culture, and culinary traditions. She struck the perfect balance between fun and informative, sharing fascinating facts while keeping the mood light and engaging. As we wandered through Bari’s charming old town, Chiara led us through narrow cobblestone streets filled with character and life. We explored the stunning Cathedral of San Sabino and the famous Basilica di San Nicola, learning about their history and significance to the local people. Chiara’s storytelling truly brought these landmarks to life — it felt like we were walking through living history rather than just sightseeing. One of the most memorable moments was watching local women make orecchiette pasta by hand right on the street. Chiara explained the tradition behind it and introduced us to some of the women, who were as delightful as the pasta itself! The food stops along the way were equally wonderful — we savored pasta all’assassina, crispy panzerotti, and finished with creamy gelato, each dish showcasing a different side of Bari’s culinary heritage. By the end of the tour, we not only felt full from all the incredible food but also deeply connected to the city and its people. Chiara’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and charm made the experience unforgettable. We can’t recommend this tour enough — it’s the perfect blend of history, culture, and delicious food, all guided by someone who truly loves Bari and knows how to share that love with others.

We thought about walking around Bari on our own would be sufficient and on our last day, we decided to do the rickshaw tour. We should’ve done this on the first day. But honestly, it didn’t matter what day we did it because it was awesome. Giancarlo was a wonderful guide., very sweet young man, with a great sense of humor. Between him and having a chance to make our own orrichiette and eat it with that delicious sauce, it was a perfect way to spend our last day here. I’m sure all of the guides are great, but if you get a chance to request Giancarlo, do so

We went on a Bari walking tour with Velo. Our guide was Barbara & she was amazing. It went at a good pace & the commentary was both educational & funny. We received a bottle of water & a warm welcome upon arrival to the meeting point. It was a lovely experience overall.

We paid €50 euros for a coastal tuk tuk trip, stopping at 3 places. The rest of the journey was just taking on the views. The girls at the booking office were super friendly and informative, they did a great job, thank you! Luka, our driver, was friendly and we enjoyed a few chats with him. So, this is not a journey with constant audio, just a chance to sit back and look around at the sights for an hour and enjoy the beautiful city of Bari 💗🇮🇹☺️

Everything was good

Barbara was an excellent and fun guide. My friend wasn't comfortable on the Segway. I've ridden 3x and didn't think the lesson she got was great, so she was scared and chose to ride a bike. It would have been too much biking for me, as we covered a lot of territory. I loved the Segway. I think they vary the food stops, but we had focaccia, another bread stuffed with a pinkish cheese, an octopus sandwich at a street full of octopus specialties, and an awesome gelato. I wasn't impressed by the first two foods--too much bread. The last two food stops were fabulous. We also got a nice tour of Bari. Loved this tour!

Nice tour with a good guide in English, but German would have been possible too. It was a shame that cyclists were mixed with e-bikers and Segway riders. The food at the end of the tour was delicious. We assumed it was a tour with three people, as there were only three places available. Segways in good condition and easy to ride.
