We really enjoyed our whiskey and Poitin experience. It was great to hear about the history of the family and get to taste some of their products. Great set up for the tour and tasting, the lady running our session was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great experience, a lo of useful information about history of Poitin and Whiskey with e. Aoife is a lovely lady explaining all what is relevant to know about Micil distillery. Highly recommendable 👍🏻👍🏻

It was a great experience! An intimate and inviting atmosphere, our tour guide, Michael was super knowledgeable and fun. The gin is one of my favorites from Micil, we even bought a bottle! I would do the tour again and recommend for both whiskey and non-whiskey lovers.

Micil Distillery was one of the best and most authentic experiences we’ve had in Ireland. We could get to know a load about whiskey, poitín, Irish natural resources, how does it all come together. I’m proud that I’ve had the opportunity to visit and to taste your marvelous whiskey. P.S.: Aoife (if I have the name right) was amazing, thank you.

Great tour (which is actually more of a tasting than a real tour). Very entertaining story of the distillery and the various products, with ample samples of two styles of whiskey and a poitin. The whiskeys are very good and it’s a small distillery with limited production but big ambitions. The ambitions show in the flavours. Entrance is through a bar, the distillery is in the back. Highly recommended!
