This hotel has the dubious title of the world’s most bombed hotel! Despite this, having not been bombed since 1994 I felt quite safe! The rooms are nice, clean and well equipped - a couple of minor niggles but nothing major Staff are really lovely and helpful. I didn’t eat an evening meal here but I had tea and and a scone in the piano bar while working and the morning was adequate. I will definitely stay here again and recommend for a relatively inexpensive hotel with a lot of history and quite a few celebrity guests over the years!

Overall, this is a very nice hotel; however, the room service is a bit of a miss. We found our room with the connecting room's door unlocked, an unflushed toilet, later we found a random latex glove, the sink kept backing up and was not fixed upon request, there was a red stain (blood?) on the duvet. On top of that the bathroom doors do not have a latch or lock and kinda just swing back open as you're on the porcelain throne. So, I hope you're okay with bathroom activities being a group activity. The location itself is great as is the breakfast and bars in the hotel. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were very nice and competent. By no definition is this a luxury hotel but is a relatively nice hotel that will get the job done.

A busy service but all staff were courteous and friendly. Food was excellent as usual. Great pre theatre menu reasonably priced. Europe is my favourite hotel in Belfast ..there's always a great buzz and happy atmosphere. I will be there with my granddaughter for our panto trip and overnight stay in December !

My mother and I stayed at the Europa Hotel a couple nights. The location was good - right across the street from a couple famous pubs (very much worth going to!), and not far from the Glide stop. It made a good base to walk around and explore Belfast. The room was quiet considering we were overlooking the Main Street below. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t eat in the hotel but there are many other food options nearby that were delightful. One night the fire evacuation alarm went off around midnight. A very startling way to be woken up. There was a lot of confusion as to what was going on. Eventually an announcement came on saying to not evacuate the building. Besides that blip, we had a very nice stay.

We loved our stay at the Europa. All the staff were brilliant, staff in the piano bar were particularly personable and made our experience of afternoon tea even better. Rooms were lovely, beds were very comfortable. My only downside is that the en-suite bathroom was glass walled, so privacy could sometimes be an issue, although it usually wasn’t a problem. Would recommend the Europa to anyone!
