A beautiful one hour boat tour, highly recommend to do if you're visiting Budapest

The Danube River Night Cruise is pure magic — city lights shimmering on the water, stunning architecture glowing in the dark, and the gentle breeze as you sip your drink in the middle of the river. It’s breathtaking from start to finish. You can book in advance and choose between a dinner or drinks cruise. Tip: Arrive 30–45 minutes before departure and stand in the queue so you can grab a prime corner spot for the best views. Some ships have limited seating, so early boarding helps secure a great place — many people “reserve” spots this way. An unforgettable way to see Budapest’s beauty at night — highly recommended! 🌙🚢✨

It was great experiance. We sat down in some great and cosy seats. Barmans were friendly and fast. We had online tickets. It is not 1h ride, little less. We had a great time.

Make sure to remain inside the ship to hear the guide not outside !!

Very good. It was a very cold day but inside the boat was nice and warm

It was a lovely experience. Fabulous views. Went on the tour at exactly the right time, so I had the best of seeing the city by day, sunset, and night. Excellent trip, not too crowded, friendly staff and fantastic value for money.

It was hard to hear the audioguide with the low volume and people being loud but the experience was still lovely. I also found it hard to find the dock since the description lists different locations and people there gave conflicting indications (it was 5A, at least the day I boarded)

The boat tour overall was great and very informative. I strongly suggest that you get there EARLY because the seats fill up fast. There are 3 rows of seats, 2 on both sides and one in the middle. The middle seats have a bit of an obstructed view when it comes to pictures. We got there late and sadly didn’t get very good seats. The drinks are ok but obviously bottom shelf, so don’t work yourself up for them! This is a guided tour via a little device with headphones in several languages. The description of what’s being transcribed is on the 2 screens on the side. The only complaint and suggestion I have is that while the transcription is going on, you get lost in what is where. For example, if the store is taking about a building we are passing, it doesn’t say which side the building is on, so you have to look around and figure out what it is they’re taking about. It would be easier if there was some electronic sign that would point to the object being discussed because sometimes the pictures did not represent the building being discussed. Otherwise, the lit up buildings on the Danube were absolutely breath taking. It’s an incredible experience and an absolute MUST!!

The trip is really good and is a good idea to take it. The only suggest to clarify the stops of the boats. There is only one not two different.

This trip showed off Budapest at its best - at night! The lit up buildings were stunning and the trip was informative and an hour was perfect on a warm autumnal evening.
