A sunset tour on Dubrovnik’s hillside, especially from Mount Srđ, offers one of the most breathtaking views of the city. Many visitors reach the hilltop by cable car, jeep safari, or guided tour, making the journey part of the experience. This was a really good experience and a very surreal one. The ascent up the mountain is not for the faint hearted but worth every turn and bump. The journey up the hill introduces a good history of the city and its origin. There are a few points on the way up to take pictures of the city, which is beautiful. When you're at the top take pictures witticism but don't forget to talk in the view of the sunsetting. It goes quicker than you think but glorious nonetheless.

An excellent photo opportunity for sunset. You can go and find a rock, sit and wait for the sun to go down. Lot of people here so be sure to come a little early if visiting for the sunset only.
The conditions weren’t quite optimal (a few more clouds in the sky would’ve helped to reflect the colour), but it’s still a great place to catch the sun setting over the sea and mountains.
