I recently had the pleasure of going on a wine tour with the most amazing guide, Andriana. The tour was not only a fantastic wine experience, but also a great team bonding and group building activity. Andriana made sure to engage each member of the group and create a fun and interactive environment. Her knowledge of wine and the vineyards we visited was impressive, and she made the tour both educational and entertaining. One of the highlights for me was the entertaining game where we tested our knowledge with a quiz based on the details we had learned throughout the tour. Additionally, the challenge of identifying a specific glass of wine among five that we had tasted was both exhilarating and rewarding.
Team Bonding Wine Event At Kalavryta We selected the wine event in Kalavryta as our corporate event, and it turned out to be one of our most memorable team bonding experiences yet! Kalavryta village is a beautiful place filled with history, some lovely local shops, and offers outstanding wine and cuisine. Ms Andriana, our guide, was so knowledgeable about all things related to wine and also provided us with numerous recommendations for future trips. We were chauffeured to take the Odontotos train and then to the vineyard. We discovered the rich history of the Mega Spilaio Estate and the remarkable efforts made to revive the winemaking traditions of the monks from years past. Throughout the tour, we learned about local grape varieties and had the pleasure of tasting five to seven exquisite local wines. The icing on the cake was the tavern that The Wine Connoisseurs team selected for our lunch. Overall, the professionalism of the event was outstanding, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to others seeking a similar experience.
Great experience! Andriana is a very knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot, both about wine and the region. The tour included tasting 11 great wines and we also had the chance to taste 2 reserve wines as courtesy. It was very interesting comparing the same wines but from different years! We would recommend the tour 100%.
This was a highlight of our trip. We did the Athens Wine Odyssey and just love it. We were picked up at our hotel in a nice luxury van with A/C and waters ready to go. Our first winery was amazing with a wine museum that had a lot of history that Adriana explained to us. She really knows all the history about Greek wine making and it was all very interesting. The wine was excellent. We then went to another winery again seeing the beautiful countryside and met with a very lovely winery owner that showed us around her winery and then tasted their wines which were amazing. We ended up buying wine at both places. We then went to a local Greek restaurant and had an excellent lunch and were able to enjoy more of the wines. I highly recommend this and give it 2 thumbs up!!
