We split our time between Athens and New York and EVERY single time I come to Athens I stop by this shop. The staff here are always SO kind and helpful--not to mention persuasive haha. I spend at least 200 euros every visit because there are just TOO MANY AMAZING GOODIES!! I must have tried at least 20 different olive oils from here, and I love coming back and exploring new brands and varieties. They have an incredible selection of artisanal oils and foods. This makes for wonderful gifts to bring home as well--truly one of a kind and very high quality. Love the different varieties from small-batch producers and family farms! Personally, aside from bottles of olive oil, I love gifting the small bottles of aged tsipouro, the boxes of organic mountain tea, or the many varieties of honey they also carry. We also often purchase avgotaraho (greek bottarga) to take home! Its amazing made into pasta, on a blini, or just with a simple squeeze of lemon and some pepper--YUMMM!! Trust me--just go check it out--you can thank me later ;)

My wife and I are on our first trip to Greece and we wanted some Greek olive oil as souvenirs that isn't generic from souvenir shops. I found Maison d' Olive and signed us up for a tasting. It was fun to try some different types and be able to buy the types we like rather than guess and hope. We also ended up doing a honey tasting, which I had no idea was a thing. We left with quite a haul of both olive oil and honey.

Great store stocking award winning olive oils. The staff were helpful in giving recommendations based on taste and budget. Keep in mind they are premium store stocking awarding winning products so the oils are not cheap. Would happily shop there again.
