This was a great tour and suitable for all ages. The guide was informative and funny with interesting tales of history relevant to all the points of interest and carried out a good pace. We had a wheelchair user and the route catered for all. We took the 5pm tour so started in daylight and as it went dark as the tour goes on … it does add to the drama. We could also have a drink and meal after to “rake over the coals” of such an enjoyable event. Good value for money we thought
I was excited to find this tour when going through our trip itinerary and contacted Joe by email about possible dates. He responded quickly and was very helpful! I was a bit concerned because one member of our group uses a mobility aid but Joe was great about the pace, making sure they could use ramps/curbs, and generally keeping everyone engaged. It seemed like a long-ish walk in retrospect but not while we were listening to Joe’s stories. We spent three weeks in Europe and among three people with very different interests, we all agreed that this was one of our favorites.
