Edouard was so knowledgeable and has so many local contacts. He offers many different tours about the area, food, culture, and markets. His tour is ultra informative, but if you need recommendations about ANYTHING in the area, he is definitely in the know! From historical references to local markets to dinner, he'll have what you need. We've been in France taking numerous paid and free tours, and Edouard was one of the best. We enjoyed a relaxed 1.5 hour walking tour with Edouard (Ted) through the centre of Aix en Provence. The tour gave us a good understanding of the history of the city. Edouard also gave us recommendations for restaurants and cafes.

Édouard was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly well-connected — he seemed to know everyone in town! We loved the blend of Franglais throughout the day (I speak more French than my husband, which added to the fun), and every stop felt like a hidden gem. Highlights included the most delicious madeleines from Christophe (no line!), unforgettable nougat, cashews from Monsieur Praliné, honey, local confitures, lavender soap, and the best calissons we’ve ever tasted. Lunch at Les Gallinas was outstanding — the lamb tripe was a surprising standout — and we left with a full doggy bag and full hearts. Édouard added just the right amount of local history and charm to make the day feel both relaxed and enriching. We truly felt like we made a new friend. Edouard took my husband and I on a very pleasant and well paced market tour this AM. it was lovely getting to meet different vendors at a relaxed pace and trying different prepared foods. I only wish we were staying at a hotel with a kitchen so we could also take part in purchasing fresh food to cook! Edouard struck the perfect balance of personal storytelling and little bits of history about the city alongside explaining the different stalls and markets along the way. we really appreciated this tour!
