Wine tour and lunch We had an excellent private wine tour experience with Enric, a Sommelier. Enric took us to 3 different wineries, each with wonderful hosts and a variety of experiences and approaches to the winery business in Barcelona. Lunch of tapas at the last stop was fantastic and wine delicious. Highly recommend.
A very special day for all our family The tour was brilliantly well planned. Lovely to visit family run vineyards and to briefly visit the beautiful village of Briones. Gorka, our guide, was extremely interesting and informative, easy going, most helpful, and gave us a marvellous day with our children and partners to mark a special celebration. The hosts at the vineyards couldn’t have been nicer and were most passionate about what they did. The minibus was super comfy and Gorka was an excellent driver, driving through some stunning countryside. It was so good to be collected and dropped off at our villa. We enjoyed lots of deliciousnesses all day with the generous wine, snacks and lunch. Thank you so much for a wonderful day."
We booked this tour as part of our honeymoon in Barcelona, and it ended up being the most memorable and enjoyable experience of our entire trip. From the moment we booked, communication was clear and reassuring. We received a confirmation email letting us know our guide would meet us at our hotel—and sure enough, David was waiting in the lobby right on time. The tour was completely private, just my husband and I, and David made us feel like VIPs from the start. He drove us to Montserrat in his private car, sharing fascinating stories, bits of history, and even personal anecdotes that made the drive feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. He intuitively picked up on our interests and made the whole experience feel personalized and thoughtful. Montserrat itself was breathtaking. David encouraged us to pause and take it all in on our way up the mountain, which really helped us stay present and appreciate the moment. The snack options at the top—both from the local stands and the café—were delicious and worth trying. After Montserrat, we headed to Can Bas winery. The short drive there was just as informative and pleasant, with David continuing to impress us with his deep knowledge of viticulture and the wine-making process. The tasting was paired with a full lunch, which exceeded our expectations in both quality and atmosphere. We can’t say enough good things about this tour. David is an incredible guide—passionate, kind, and exceptionally knowledgeable. This experience was worth every penny, and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. If you’re looking for a day that’s both relaxing and rich with culture, history, and great wine, this is the one!
The winery owner Jesus, was rude at the end of the experience, “inviting” us to leave in a indirect way removing our half full glasses from the table. Aside from that our guide was great and our driver as well.
