We did the tapas and wine tour in Madrid. We really enjoyed 3/4 spots. The 3rd spot 4-5 people shared one container of shrimp. Many of the other guests were double dipping which I found unsanitary. My husband and I were unable to enjoy the food at the 3rd location due to this other guest. The 3rd spot was standing only which was uncomfortable. Noemi was an excellent guide. I am pescatarian and she accommodated my restrictions without issue. I had something to eat at each stop.
We recently enjoyed an unforgettable Ribera del Duero Wine Tour with Ismael as our guide. The day took us to three incredible wineries, each offering a distinct experience that highlighted the diversity and richness of this world-renowned wine region. From the moment we met Ismael, his passion for wine and deep knowledge of the Ribera del Duero region set the tone for the day. He provided fascinating insights into the history, terroir, and winemaking traditions of the area, making the journey between wineries just as engaging as the tastings themselves. Each winery offered something unique: First Winery – We experienced an intimate tour of the vineyard and cellar, followed by a tasting of elegant, well-balanced reds that perfectly expressed the local terroir. Second Winery – This stop combined modern architecture with innovative winemaking techniques, giving us a fresh perspective on how tradition and innovation meet in Ribera del Duero. Third Winery – Our final visit was a deep dive, literally into the caves of an hill where they stored the wine, into heritage and craftsmanship, where we sampled robust, complex wines that left a lasting impression. Overall, the variety of experiences ranging from rustic charm to cutting edge production made the tour truly exceptional. Ismael’s professionalism, friendliness, and storytelling brought the whole journey to life. We left with a deeper appreciation for Ribera del Duero wines and memories we will cherish. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the best of Ribero del Duero wine country!
El tour ofrece una buena experiencia en la parte de la cata de vinos en la Ribera del Duero, que estuvo bien organizada y agradable. Sin embargo, la cata se realizó al inicio de la jornada, lo cual resultó demasiado temprano para estar tomando vino; hubiera sido más lógico dejarla al final. Por otro lado, la visita a Segovia no correspondió con lo que se promociona. En la descripción se menciona una “visita completa incluyendo acueducto, alcázar y catedral”, pero en realidad las entradas a estos monumentos no estaban incluidas. Incluso el Alcázar no lo visitamos ni por fuera por falta de tiempo, y la Catedral solo se explicó desde lejos. Esto generó cierta decepción, ya que esperábamos algo distinto basados en la información publicada. Sería importante que la descripción del tour sea más clara y precisa para que los viajeros sepan exactamente qué esperar.
El tour estuvo excelente. La hemos pasado genial especialmente gracias a Laura, nuestra guia. Tuvimos tiempo para todo, el vino, la ciudad, almorzar y comprar algunas cositas. Laura fue muy simpática y nos encantó como hablo de la historia de Segovia. Lo recomiendo 100% el tour. La transportación es segura y son muy puntuales.
This was an informative and enjoyable day in Ribera Del Duero. We visited three unique and different wineries. The wines we sampled were of the highest quality and each winery shared their passion of wine making, and explained the differences in the wines selected. The food accompanying the wines were also delicious and generous. Our guide Ismael was also passionate and knowledgeable about wine making and also was very familiar of the region. He was also very entertaining and friendly. It was a perfect day out and I highly recommend this tour to both novice and expert wine aficionados. 10/10
Amazing tour!! We did the one day winery tour in which we visited three different wineries outside of Madrid city centre. Our tour guide Ismael was fantastic and really informative on the bus as well as at each destination. He was also extremely friendly and brought a lovely vibe to the tour. There were only eight guests on the tour and we got extremely lucky on the day to be grouped with a lovely bunch of people. All wines and foods on the tour were delicious and we bought some wine to bring home with us as the wineries sold their products for great prices!
We had a fantastic wine tour and tasting experience in Madrid with Ishmael. The day included visits to three distinct wineries, each offering unique character and impressive wines. Ishmael was an exceptional guide—deeply knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the region’s winemaking history. We enjoyed learning about the local traditions and processes, all while sampling a thoughtfully curated selection of high-quality wines.
