A nice and interesting visit to Museo Picasso Málaga. The exhibition is well presented and gives a good overview of Picasso’s work, though it may not appeal to everyone equally. The museum is easy to navigate and centrally located. It’s a good idea to buy tickets in advance, as queues can get quite long.
Amy

A beautifully curated exhibition space with a clean, modern design that lets the art take center stage. Picasso: Memory & Desire feels thoughtfully presented, with clear explanations and a calm atmosphere that encourages reflection. The layout is spacious and easy to navigate, making it an enjoyable and immersive experience for art lovers. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate Picasso’s work and insightful exhibitions.

A beautiful museum set inside a gorgeous building right in Málaga’s bustling city center, just a short 10-minute walk from Plaza de la Constitución. The museum has a stunning selection of Picasso’s work. It’s true that many of his most famous pieces are exhibited in museums around the world, but seeing his work up close here was still an amazing experience. His meticulous technique is simply genius. The wait was around 10–15 minutes, so I’d definitely recommend buying tickets in advance. There are also two museum shops with a great variety of Picasso-themed items. Definitely worth a visit.

Book in advance. Entrance time slots still require lining up outside. It took about 15 minutes to get inside for my 11:00 a.m. designated time. Then we must check our bags (anything larger than a small shoulder bag) and water bottles. Good exhibition over several rooms. Don’t miss the ancient walls in the basement. Comprehensive gift shop.

Picasso Museum Málaga is worth visiting to see Picasso’s early works and follow the development of his style. The collection is not very large, but the pieces are interesting and well presented. A good stop for understanding his artistic journey.
