This birthday workshop at Çukor offers a truly original and memorable experience where children dive into the enchanting world of artisan hard-candy making. Designed to blend fun with hands-on learning, the activity introduces young participants to a traditional craft from earlier times. Using authentic techniques, children create a variety of delightful pieces such as lollipops, inscriptions, blown sugar balloons, rings, brooches, and many other playful shapes guided by their imagination. The workshop is both safe and engaging, with clear procedures in place whenever high temperatures are involved. All children wear gloves, and any hazardous steps are carried out solely by the instructor. Families can also participate, making it a wonderful shared activity for mixed groups of adults and kids.
Upon arrival, participants wash their hands, put on aprons, and begin preparing the syrup together. While the mixture reaches the correct temperature, the group chooses flavors, colors, and the types of pieces they want to craft. After creating their candy artwork, everyone packages their sweets to take home. If a cake is included, the group decorates it with chocolate and candy pieces before lighting the candles and celebrating. Very good experience. Delivery within the stated timeframe, and I'm happy with the products purchased. The giant number balloons are still shiny after a month and a half of being inflated with regular air. The giant stork is spectacular for baptism decorations. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with holes for hanging, and the head doesn't stay upright. I had to tie it myself with a string to keep it upright.
I placed the order on a Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at 10:17 a.m. I already had it at home, I'm from Seville. Excellent quality, and very good prices. The tablecloth is plastic which is great for drying or cleaning if something is spilled. I will always place my orders with them.
