I’d heard my colleagues talking about this place, so I decided to give it a try, and overall it was a good experience. I ordered a 1/4lb of pulled pork and a 1/4ln of beef brisket. The brisket was the highlight tender, flavourful, and nicely cooked. The pulled pork was a little on the dry side, but still enjoyable once paired with some BBQ sauce. For sides, we went with mac ’n’ cheese, chilli beans, and slaw. All were solid options and worked well alongside the mains. We also had two beers recommended by the barmaid. Pump Action and Krushed Alive — and both were excellent choices. Kudos to her for the spot-on suggestions. 🍺 The place was busy and lively, so getting a table required a short wait, but that’s usually a sign of a popular spot. It is on the pricier side, even for Scandinavia. Two meals plus two beers came to $136. For that price, a bit of table service would’ve been appreciated, especially since we had to clear our own table. Overall, a good visit with tasty brisket, great beer recommendations, and a buzzing atmosphere. Just be ready for higher Copenhagen prices.

Western style BBQ (which has its own subgenres of warring factions) available in the heart of the Meatpacking District. Great place to load up on brisket pulled pork and other favorites, not to mention killer mac and cheese. After you order your BBQ, if you're drinking, walk over to the brew section of the restaurant and sample one of the local beers here. The hardest part if you come on a busy night (which is almost any night) is finding a communal table to crowd into. Tables outside have heat lamps. Overall scene is very buzzy and full of energy and a great spot to grab some yummy food, local beverage, and enjoy the moment for yourself amidst the crowds or alongside a table full of friends. 🐗🍻

Kenneth did a grand job. Not only did he provide us with some Copenhagen history but enlightened us on the local government, the people and the lifestyle.

Really enjoyed Warpigs it's pretty authentic to what they do in the US and they have it set up really well. Grab a beer, grab a tray, place your food order then find a space at the tables and get stuck in. The only slight negative was the brisket was a little dry but the flavours from the smoke and rubs were excellent. The sides are really good too and it's pretty decent value for money considering the quality

I lived in Texas for 3 years, and my wife grew up there. This met our expectation of a Danish take on “authentic” Texas barbecue. All to say, it’s very poorly executed. The closest items to authenticity were the brisket tenderness and the side sauces. The brisket was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The pulled pork was so dry it might as well have been chicken. The sausage did not seem home made. It was missing the snap, and texture of a true Texas barbecue sausage. The sides were even worse. The mac and cheese can be described as macaroni soup with “cheese” dye. It’s super watery. It looked like they didn’t drain the pasta water and just poured powdered cheese into the bowl. It was flavorless. The coleslaw looked creamy, but was super vinegary and tasted stale. I’ve had better barbecue in Massachusetts. TLDR: Steal their sauce and leave everything else behind.

Oskar was the best. Very informative on the history of Copenhagen. He told a lot of jokes to make us more comfortable. Highly recommend this tour for those who want an inside look of where people go to get a good beer and socialize.

Oskar, our guide, was great. He told us a lot of stories while walking through Vesterbro and answered all our questions. The choice of pubs was brilliant. It was a lot of fun!
