We had a lot of fun together as a family. Solving the riddles on this beautiful panoramic trail wasn't always easy, but we managed it nonetheless. As a highlight, we got to enjoy a delicious bottle of wine in the sunshine with a stunning view from the top of the vineyard.

Unfortunately, we had to reschedule our first booked appointment due to illness. However, this wasn't a problem, and the friendly staff member took care of it promptly. Once we were finally able to get started, we had a fantastic day. The puzzles were manageable, and the surroundings were very beautiful. Yes, we got lost at first, but that's typical for our group.

We were with a group of 10. Based on the entrance fee for the Disibodenberg monastery ruins in Odernheim, we assumed we'd start at the top. Thanks to a tip from another hiker, we realized we were in the wrong place. The time window was getting tighter and tighter. Arriving at the winery, we walked through several buildings and didn't find anything. A neighbor of the winery then gave us the right tip. (The lockers are behind the Green Hall.) The locker was finally open 5 minutes before the time slot closed. Phew! GPS coordinates would have been really helpful for finding the location of the lockers. After we finally mastered the beginning, we got started. The puzzles are well thought out, but without the solution book, we sometimes got stuck. Especially with the wine bottle, we couldn't get any further with the two clicks. You do walk through the ruins and pay the entrance fee, but unfortunately, we didn't see much. A shame. The terrain should be better integrated into the puzzle. Last but not least, we also criticized the price. Considering that we paid an entrance fee, this place should also be included more. The website states the price including admission is 15 euros. Officially, however, we would have paid 5 euros per person. And the price per person listed on the website doesn't match the final price we booked. Of course, I didn't do the math and promptly collected too little money, which meant I had to pay extra. 11 people x 22 euros isn't 257 euros as a final total. A note that the equipment costs a flat rate of 15 euros would be good. Then you can do the math yourself. Conclusion: The hike was fun, but we probably won't do it again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was so much fun! We had a bit of trouble getting our bearings at first, but we eventually found our way. And the puzzles are great. You have to be a bit clever and have some imagination, but that's what makes the game so great. Great setting in the vineyards. We had so much fun ;)

We've completed many escape rooms as a team and were really excited to experience it all outdoors. For my sister's and my birthday, we had a fantastic day in Eltville. Booking, getting information, and picking up the backpack from the locker were all very straightforward. We were thrilled with the lovingly designed puzzle content. It was a fantastic experience in the vineyards, with great puzzles, and we managed to keep up with the time even though we had trouble finding our way at first. We didn't solve it completely without tips, but that's okay. The path was not so great, as it was overgrown with thorn branches in places. You had to be careful of scratches and your clothing. At the end of the day, we enjoyed a glass of wine at the Schwarzes Häuschen wine stand in the Steinberg with a great view. Great.
