Andre was our tour guide and he was amazing!!! Really funny and active! and he was really amazing with the monkeys!
I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical about the cost for a 90 minute boat ride, but my whole family agreed that we would have paid double for this experience! I can’t remember our guide’s name, but he was phenomenal. He pointed out so much wildlife along the way, and he was so knowledgeable about everything we saw. The highlight though, was the monkeys! What an incredible experience! We sat on the boat while the monkeys came on board with us. They climbed on us, which we loved, and we really enjoyed just watching them play! Highly recommend this tour! We also had lunch at their restaurant afterwards, and we loved the empanadas and the smoothies! We watched them hand-making the food, and knew it would be delicious! Definitely plan to stay for lunch, or have it before you board.
Fantastic tour guide who knows the names of all the white face monkeys. We had a great visit with the entire monkey family on the boat. Highly recommend empanadas. Great smoothies good drinks fantastic people and fairly priced.
What a incredible journey - with tour guide Diego 🤩🤌! We have enjoyed a really nice tour, with very detailed information regarding biodiversity and how to preserve it! Diego has been really nice, and have shared with us his passion and love for fauna and flora! We could have felt his dedication to it, and how they preserve it! We had the chance to observe closely - with respect - monkeys, lizards, birds, caiman!!! For sure one of our best time in Costa Rica, clearly a MUST DO on your list! We thank him again for everything! 💯 worth it, I recommend 💯!
We LOVED this tour. A major highlight of our trip. We actually lucked out and ended up getting a private tour! Our guide was awesome, so knowledgable and told us the monkeys names. once in a lifetime experience seeing them so close, so glad we did this! We also saw two baby crocodiles, iguanas, tons of lizards, one snake and even a sloth! We learned about the river, Wildlife and mangroves! Best tour price in Quepos, and great gift shop too! It felt like the real life jungle cruise, so beautiful!
