We had a wonderful experience with Alan. From the very start, he made everything effortless for us; he was there waiting right when we landed, which immediately put us at ease after a long journey. What stood out most was his incredible patience and kindness, especially with our children. He was so understanding, never rushed us, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. Traveling with kids can sometimes be stressful, but he created such a calm and welcoming atmosphere that we were able to simply relax and enjoy the experience. Alan and Surfside Adventure Tours made our vacation across Victoria and Vancouver island a wonderful experience! He stopped at all the waterfalls, took us hiking and really went above and beyond making sure the entire party went on paths that were catered to their skill levels. Alan took the time to cultivate the trip and point out the wildlife, the waterfalls and even the mushrooms for every picture and pose we wanted to take. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. An excellent tour and tour guide! We’d explained to Alan in advance the types of things we were interested in and he managed to curate a perfect tour on the day. The highlight for us was Blue Grouse winery. A beautifully designed building with amazing views and multiple cosy seating areas with fantastic wine, food and service. We also loved visiting Chinatown and learning more about the history of Victoria and Vancouver island. We would highly recommend Alan for any trip you are considering whilst in Victoria. We even saw a bald eagle which was fantastic.
Was an awesome trip as our wonderful driver Alan made sure everything was organised. I had forgotten to rebook Butchart Garden tickets. So reached out & presto, sorted. Then took us in fir a family photo which was special. On way back we toured the homes with amazing lights & even had time to jump out & take photos. Was an amazing tour, totally recommend especially those that dont have cars as pick up & drop off at your hotel. Easy! Thanks Alan for being a great & helpful tour guide.
Alan was amazing to work with from the begging until the end of our 7 hour tour to Vancouver Island. Very accommodating and professional , took great care of our family of five making sure all three kids did things they loved. He had great suggestions and explained everything in detail. We couldn't recommend him and his company enough. He went above and beyond in making sure we made great memories during that tour and he took great pictures of all of us
