Couldn't find somewhere (including kukirin themselves) that would send a scooter to Northern Ireland then stumbled across loco scooters. They had the best price of any scooter shop by far! Ordered it on Sunday night, was shipped Monday, scooter arrived in NI on Tuesday. Well chuffed! Cheers folks
I purchased a scooter from loco recently and the process was amazing. From the shop in blanchardstown and in particular young girl called Meghan was very helpful and insightful. My scooter arrived with damage to the box and packing. However, the packing was perfect to protect the scooter as I saw no damage to the bodywork there was, however, damage to the combination lock for the deck. My first charge resulted in an over charge of 0.6v, the first person i spoke to (Chloe service center assistant manager) basically said that's fine with no other information. I was a bit rude in my reply and Paddy responded telling me how much each cell in series was overcharged, and explained a few other things about the battery and cell arrangement. To show they did understand the issue, next contact was when I couldn't lock the deck closed same person as the aforementioned first person replied to my video and photos with "it looks to me the deck isn't sitting flat" it was clear on the video and photos that the deck lock was bent. Also if she read my email she would've seen I said battery in or out it won't lock, also included photos of the area the lock sits with nothing in the way. I returned with a video showing the deck was flat and multiple photos again to show nothing in in the way. They did send out a replacement deck lock but said she "highly doubts it will fix the problem as the lock turns so felt something was catching" despite showing there was nothing in the way. I will say it did rotate when not closed (with extreme difficulty) after she saw there was no wires or anything in the way, and that the lock was bent up. I knew this had to be the problem due to the information I provided, it was indeed catching but not on anything other than the sides of the cut out for the lock. This replacement part was shipped to England for nothing. Also when I said the lock fixed the issue I asked for the torque required for the wheel bolts and they had the information in NM, Foot-lbs and inch-lbs. So far so good. Could be 5* however I made a mistake with my post code I emailed them and called multiple times they never replied to the email and they never answered the phone and at least once every 2 calls the store selection prompt would not recognise my key presses.
They are extremely helpful, I received direct answers to my questions. The delivery arrived within the promised time, in flawless packaging, and the goods were also intact! Prices are super compared to other stores which deserves praise! 👏I highly recommend it. Thank you loco team! Good job ❤️
