Begin your Segway adventure by checking in at the office located beside the Chinese Garden, just across from the Queen Anne riverboat. Your 60-minute Beginner Segway Adventure starts with a detailed training session led by certified instructors who will guide you through all essential skills, including balance, stopping, hill control, and safe riding techniques. The training takes around 30 minutes, but each person learns at their own pace, ensuring a comfortable and confident start before hitting the trails.
Once training is complete, the real adventure begins. You’ll glide through North America’s largest urban parkland, experiencing the River Valley from a fresh and exciting perspective. The route is designed to let you enjoy scenic views while riding at varying speeds. You may also upgrade your adventure to 90 minutes for extra fun. At the end of the experience, you’ll earn your Segway Operator’s License, allowing you to skip training on future advanced tours. We tried the 60-minute river valley segway tour. It was a great experience. Our instructor Chris was incredible, outgoing, and friendly. He shared some great information about the river valley during the tour. The segway is such a well designed piece of equipment. After short instructions, you feel comfortable to enjoy the ride and explore the beautiful area. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun activity with family and friends. We will be back!
My friend and I had our Segway tour here on August 1st, 2025. It was our first time riding, but if you saw us at the end, you’d think we did this often! Not only was it easy to learn, but it was so much fun! I believe we were with Yash that day (I’m so sorry if I got your name wrong). He was super chill and gave us some cool facts about the spots we were driving through and stopping at. He would even warn us if a bump or rough spot was coming up, and he made sure to take lots of pictures for us! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking to try out a Segway adventure. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
Disappointing experience. Had known about this tour outfitter from working in tourism and had high expectations. My husband and I rented a tandem bike to ride around the river valley. Granted we’d never ridden a tandem before but we’re avid North Shore BC mountain bikers and road bikers around Vancouver. We were thankful we could quickly test out the tandem before committing. But beyond that it was a fizzle. The bike was terrible. We managed 6km in an hour, I could have ran that faster. We fixed the chain multiple times, and essentially riding the 3x7 as a fixed gear bike with slipping gears. I left you some notes to reindex the gears. The helmets are also all 5+ years old, one I saw was manufactured in 2016. These are considered expired (anything after 2022 is now) and absolutely should be replaced for safety. Good select of beers for patio and sweet treats from local bakeries. We didn’t sample.
Great experience renting e-bikes from this team! They went over the bike for us and also did a safety check. The cost of the rental is also reasonable and it was nice to have a place to grab a refreshment and enjoy it after the ride! Would recommend them again. Just hope they make sure all of their bikes have a bell.
We had such an awesome time on our segway tour. Chris is an amazing guide and took us to a lot of different places I didn't know existed. It was also great to be able to sit on the patio afterwards. It's such a great location with incredible staff. Definitely go for the 90 minutes -- you won't be disappointed!
