This winter Segway adventure invites you to experience Edmonton’s River Valley in a completely new way. Your journey begins at the meeting point beside the Chinese garden, where you will walk down to the office before starting your Segway Clinic. Certified trainers guide you through a detailed winter-specific training session, covering essential skills such as balance, emergency stops, hill handling, hazard avoidance, and safe riding techniques. Once you’re comfortable, the adventure continues with a scenic glide through the vast parkland, giving you the chance to appreciate the peaceful beauty of Edmonton’s snowy landscape. Riders can also upgrade their 60 minute experience to 90 minutes for extra time on the trails.
Before joining the trek, guests should be prepared for winter conditions and arrive dressed in proper cold-weather gear similar to skiing attire. Bring warm layers, winter boots, gloves, and items like a toque, scarf, sunglasses, and a camera for memories. While riding, guests must avoid distractions such as phones or taking photos, as safety rules apply throughout the journey. After completing the trek, you will earn a Segway Operator’s License, allowing you to skip training on future advanced tours.
