Fascinating place to visit,we had a guide when we went who explained what every excavated site was about. It seemed everybody who was there had a guide so I suppose this is the best way to experience the site to get maximum information from what it is you're seeing. We really enjoyed it.

Fabulous place... we went early ish, arrived at 10... as did several coach tour parties... but the site is big enough that you can a find your way around

I was in absolute awe being here. Little to no expectation as I drove from Limassol to Paphos. So happy I stopped here. I spent about an hr & half here. Allow for couple hours. Some shaded areas, but mostly you are completely exposed by the heat. Parking is ample and included in the ticket. As you enter the area you will come to boom gates, you’ll need to stop and pay before proceeding. Beautifully surrounded with an incredible water view. Some sections are disability friendly - one section has ramps and even brail. The rest may be a challenge. If you have the time, highly recommend.

Visited on a morning. You will need a couple of hours and it’s all under the sun so put your sunscreen on and protect yourself. Bring a bottle of water. It’s really nice, you can walk all over the ruins, there are more then 20 landmarks spread all over the hill with explanations on the history. The price is 4.5€ if I’m not wrong, super fair. You will find parking inside after buying the tickets. Take your time and enjoy the views since it’s really stunning. There’s a lot of Belvedere that are covered for a bit of well deserved shadow.

Kourion is an absolutely stunning archaeological site with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean. The ancient ruins are beautifully preserved — from the impressive theatre to the intricate mosaic floors that tell stories from centuries past. Walking through the site feels like stepping back in time, and the location itself is magical, especially at sunset. Everything is well signposted with clear information about the history, and the area is clean and well maintained. Whether you’re a history lover or just want to enjoy incredible scenery, Kourion is a must-visit in Cyprus.
