Having a relaxed and sunbath Canal Cruise in Aveiro. Viva a Ria did a great job and made us joyful. Vibrant and tried to speak our languages, really appreciated. "Old Eagle"
The tour started and our guide was sitting down. When I asked if this is a guided tour. She told me to calm down and take pictures. In 45 min all she told us are 3 things. This is where we store the salt but this year not so much salt, Here is the ceramic building. But it’s closed and the friendship bridge but there 5 but one is the friendship bridge. Bad tour. Watch for the ones that have microphones. They don’t stop talking. Oh and all she did is show the middle figure to other boats.
We went on board with Viva Ria on their boat pier to cruise in the Aveiro city cannels. The boat ride was approximately 40 minutes. Cost per person was 15 Euros. The staff were friendly and explained the historical importance of each building and places we observed during the boat cruise. Good boat agency. Boat ride was also comfortable. Highly recommended.
Love this place. Too bad we had only an hour stop here. My sister and I got to ride the gondola over the bridges and the canal. It was an awesome experience. The tour guide served us wine and a delicacy in Aveiro. They call this place Little Venice. There's so much to see here. Great murals to see everywhere. There's construction going on during our visit here, but we enjoyed the other views.
Viva Ria is one of boat tour agency near Aveiro river. They easily to be recognized with their red color. I was there just for walking and enjoy the view or weather. They are one of the busiest agency for the boat tour when I was there. When you are talking about worth or not, it depends on your budget. They offer 45 minutes of boat tour €13 for adults and €6 for kids. The price is normal and same like others. There will a staff whom will explain you about the city during your tour. Actually, there is not much to see in the water. You can do by walking. If you want to have different experience, taking the boat tour can be good for you.
