We spent 3 nights with the amazing Binh, spent the first day in Cha Loi cave which was the challenging part of the experience, and also in the dark cave. The overall experience was wonderful. We did the single day tour with Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave. Incredibly impressive caves, really awesome giant Vietnamese lunch, and we loved having Nguyet as our guide, she was great! Don't hesitate to take this tour!

Everything was wonderful, quite adventurous, the cave we did had 3 different levels, going up and down in the cave is really fun. A bit of climbing but accessible, walking in the water for a bit and swimming in the cave was fun. After we went to have a good lunch near the river and our guide was outstanding helping us understanding the structure of the cave and the particularity of it ! Thank you so much

I included this area in our holiday to specifically visit the three caves close by after reading about them in various travel guide. Access to the Phong Nha cave is via a 25 minute boat ride which gives an interesting view of the town built along the river banks. Tickets must be bought before entering the embarkation area. As we had our own guide we had the boat to ourselves but I suspect the others were a mixture of family groups and individuals. The boat takes you 500 meters into the cave before dropping you back at the walk way that traverses the interior of the cave. Both sections provide views of spectacular formations in a range of amazing colours. The walking section is easy to travel as it is well constructed with even boardwalks and hand rails. There is a flight of steps at the exit point but with with a low level of fitness everyone should handle these with minimal difficulty. Before embarking on the return journey (in the same boat- so remember the number) take the time to wander in the market on the quay to buy drinks, ice cream or food and souvenirs. There are toilets located in the market. I highly recommend this attraction. I have seen nothing like this in Australia for colour or size the cave is truly spectacular.
