Taking this experience with Irma (Mia) from Georgian Flavors was one of the most authentic and beautiful moments I’ve ever had. I still feel like I’m in another dimension. What I experienced that day was so, so, so wonderful, profound, colorful, flavorful, and truly authentic. This experience was literally a gift. The moment we shared together with Irma, her cousin Bako (who was helping us the whole time) will stay with me forever. Irma is full of kindness and generosity. She opens not just her house but also her heart, creating an atmosphere where you’re not just learning recipes but truly sharing moments and building memories that last a lifetime. Whenever I think of Tbilisi, I’ll always remember you, your home, and all of us cooking together. What you are offering is so important, and I’m deeply grateful for it. Wonderful way to experience and discover Georgian culinary traditions. I would 100% recommend a cooking class with Irma, one of the highlights of our two-week stay in Tbilisi. Irma is so knowledgeable about the different regional cuisines throughout Georgia, and emphasizes quality seasonal ingredients in her cooking. Excited to share these recipes with friends and family back home!

This was an unbelievably wonderful gastronomic and cultural experience. We spent the afternoon cooking and learning from Irma and her lovely cousin in Irma’s beautiful home. She is a terrific teacher. The food was so delicious, authentically Georgia and tailored to our specific dietary needs. Spending the afternoon with these women was the highlight of our wonderful Georgian adventure. Getting to know them and share a delicious meal with them was an experience we will cherish.
