Went there for a birthday cake. I chose the berry and milk. I was told by the sweetest lady helping me that it's tres leches with fresh fruit in the middle. All I can say is WOW!! In the middle were loads of.fresh blueberries and strawberries. The frosting is light, fluffy, creamy and not too sweet. The cake is light and absorbed just the right amount of milk. It is the best tres leches I have ever had! ❤️
The ambience can make you feel comfy whilst waiting for the food. Their French Toast serving is good for two people. The fluffiness, texture, taste, and its crispiness makes it different compared to other restaurants where it’s just typically too sweet. The added blueberries and strawberries on the side topped with cream cheese makes you feel wanting more. Their ham and egg croissant sandwich features a flaky, buttery croissant filled with savory ham, a perfectly cooked egg, and melted cheese. Plus their mocha flavored hot coffee combination made it more satisfying as a first timer in their restaurant. Sadly, you can only find their branches in California but you can order their products online.
We are from Houston and I am so glad my son introduced us to the place!! We have great food, but WOW this place is amazing!! The prices are unbelievably low and the service is premium! We had all the potato balls, strudels, Cuban sandwich, steak torta, mango mousse, meat pies, and turkey, bacon sandwich. They were all fabulous!! Thank you for a great meal and snacks for later!!
Porto's Bakery is definitely a popular spot we come from Palm Springs and for good reason. Their pastries are among the best you'll find anywhere. Whether it's their famous cheese rolls or the carrot cake my favorite 🤗 the quality and flavor are the best. Despite how packed the place usually gets, they've got an excellent system in place for taking orders, which helps move the line quickly. That said, the food is also amazing today Baldwin was our server he recommended a turkey & candied bacon sub on press croissant also the chicken Milanese they both were amazing he was so helpful to us the entire time. I highly recommend this to others!
This place is AMAZING! This was my first time coming to Porto’s and I loved the whole experience. I will say, this place was very busy BUT the lines moved quick and the staff were so nice! I want to give a huge shoutout to Ellie, as soon as I told her that it was my first time here, she recommended some items to try and I ended up loving all of them! She was so kind and helpful and I want to thank her for making my experience so special. I will absolutely be coming back!
