Experience the magic of Porto under the moonlight as you immerse yourself in the soulful tradition of authentic “Fado.” In one of the city’s most renowned Fado houses — a historic building dating back to the 14th century and famously the only place in Porto where Amália Rodrigues, the most celebrated Fado singer in history, performed multiple times — you will gain a true local’s understanding of this heartfelt music. Between performances, you’ll have the chance to meet and speak with the guitarists, singers, and poets, discovering the stories and passion that bring each song to life.
Alongside the music, you’ll enjoy a full dining experience, pairing traditional Portuguese dishes with several glasses of wine and Port. Between bites and sips, the Fado songs will fill the air, weaving poetry, emotion, and history into an unforgettable night. The evening concludes with dessert, coffee, and a gentle stroll through Porto’s moonlit streets, leaving you with lasting memories of romance, culture, and the city’s rich musical heritage.

What a unique experience!! The music was stunning, keep in mind that you will not ( should not, it is rude!) speak while they sing. You will not want to anyway! There were ample breaks and service was steady throughout the night. This is a unique and cozy spot, unlike anything you will likely experience again! Food was tasty, they were accommodating with allergies, our sweet server was so upbeat and helpful, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As a bonus, the espresso martini was phenomenal! We were there for about 3 hours and originally worried it would be too loud, but the noise level was perfect.

Great experience of Fado! We chose a la carte, menu was good but the serving was a bit slow. Staffs are super nice and friendly, show was really great. Highly recommend to anyone who tries Fado for the first time!

I had a wonderful experience for our first night in Porto at Fado No Porto with Eulalia being our Fado singer. She gave us such a phenomenal performance full of passion and enthusiasm, and what a memorable experience it was. The food was delicious, but I feel because the place got busy the food didn’t arrive as warm as it could have been, but it was delicious nonetheless. Fernando was our server and made This evening an even more special experience with his attentiveness & friendliness. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Porto in its true essence.

Stumbled across this incredible hole in the wall restaurant close to Sao Bento Station because of the beautiful mural outside. Our group was invited to stay for dinner and a live Fado show: food was amazing, service was attentive, and the music was breathtaking! We could not believe this deal, truly could not recommend enough! Thank you for one of the best nights of our trip! With love, from Chicago

Great food, live music and all the wine you want. It was a great experience getting to hear Fado music. The staff was very friendly and the food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious. Definitely recommend for a date night.
