Embark on a captivating journey through the heart and soul of Buenos Aires, beginning at the historic Plaza de Mayo. This symbolic square is surrounded by some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Casa Rosada, the pink-hued presidential palace; the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Cabildo, a colonial-era town hall. From there, step into the bohemian charm of San Telmo, where cobblestone streets echo with the rhythm of street performers, and antique shops offer a glimpse into Argentina’s storied past. The vibrant energy of this neighborhood captures the essence of old Buenos Aires.

Next, travel to La Boca, a picturesque district bursting with color and life. Stroll along Caminito Street, an open-air museum where brightly painted houses, tango dancers, and local artists turn every corner into a living canvas. Your adventure continues into the elegant Recoleta neighborhood, renowned for its Parisian-style architecture and the Recoleta Cemetery, where ornately designed mausoleums tell stories of Argentina’s most prominent families. A visit to Eva Perón’s final resting place offers a moment of reflection on the country’s modern history.

The tour then shifts to the tranquil town of Tigre, a lush riverside retreat just outside the city. Here, you’ll board a boat for a scenic Delta navigation, gliding through serene waterways flanked by subtropical vegetation and unique stilted homes. Enjoy a tasty empanadas snack before heading to Puerto de Frutos, a bustling artisan market filled with handcrafted goods and local flavors. Finally, unwind with a stroll along Paseo Victorica, a peaceful promenade where the beauty of the riverside scenery offers the perfect conclusion to this enriching exploration.

We had a fun day tour of the Tigre River Delta. It was fun to see the eclectic variety of scenes on the side of the river from colonial buildings to small accommodations and individual homes. Very pleasant excursion for a sunny day!

Phenomenal last minute accommodation for our schedule. Wonderful communicator with very good English. He made us feel like we had been friends for years. The Delta Tigre is a great place to go see, totally different vibe and nice change from the city.

Enrique is an amazing tour guide, and our 4 hour trip into the Tigre Delta didn’t disappoint! From the cruise ship pick-up, to the stop for pastries on the way, to our wonderful trip into the Delta, it was the best tour we’ve ever had. Enrique made us feel like family, and used his vast knowledge of the Delta and its many tributaries to make our trip one we will remember for a lifetime. Worth every penny. Thank you Enrique, for a great day!

What a great day trip! We were staying in Buenos Aires for a few days, and decided to book a day trip to Tigre to explore the area. Right after we booked a trip with Enrique, we got a list of very useful tips from him about our stay in Buenos Aires. The trip felt like a “VIP type of service”. Enrique came to pick us up at the hotel, on our way to Tigre we stopped at the bakery where we choose freshly baked pastries for our later picnic on the boat, we drove to the marine and from there started exploring the area. Enrique took us to some not touristic places, pointed out to interesting houses, taking photos, all this when telling us stories about the area, people and Argentina in general. Enrique also gave us some additional tips at the end of the tour on restaurants, shops, etc. Highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a relaxing half day in a good company!

Evrything was perfect and im happy that i followed the advice of Hurtigruten to book this trip. Was picked up by Enrique at the hotel, we stopped at bakery to get some delicious cake and moved on to the boat. The boat is small enough to be able sailing in smaller channels where others cant go. Saw lots of wonderful wildlife and nature. Enrique is a wonderful host and i learned alot about the local wildlife and about Argentina in general.
