My wife and really enjoyed the market visit followed by the cooking lesson and lunch. The experience was one of the highlights during the Sicily portion of our visit - highly recommended! It was an intimate setting with only four participants in our group and we got to connect well with the other guests and Michael and his daughter (who thankfully keep our workstations tidy and dishes washed). My wife is an avid cook and was still able to learn a few new skills that were more broadly applicable than just making pasta. Michael was in his element and had thought of all the little details to make it smooth and fun.

Michael was a fabulous host and chef! Everything was clearly explained before we arrived, our walk through the old market (where the vendors knew Michael by name!) was both enjoyable and educational, the cooking class in which we all participated was amazing, several new culinary skills were learned, the food was absolutely delicious, and the group of eight guests was a perfect number to enjoy the experience with. And … we each took home a book of the recipes we made! A definite highlight of my trip to Palermo! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend to any who come to Palermo! I really enjoyed walking the market before hand to pick out our food and enjoyed the space we cooked in! Michael gave wonderful tips and tricks on cooking and knife skills as well as silicon cooking and knowledge. Great class for all levels and made us feel like family!!

Our class with Michael was SO fun! We already have a bit of a background of Sicilian cooking through my husbands family, but we learned some new recipes and tips and tricks that are invaluable.
