Absolutely breathtaking experience. The guides are really helpful too as they helped us, who weren't very good at swimming. The sardines are right there by the beach, in thousands, and look incredibly majestic as they all move together. It's not technically a sardine run, as they live there, but you shouldn't care. I recommend going there during bright daylight (in the afternoon) so that you can see the loghts being reflected off the fishes' bodies.

The best place you could every see such a spectacular underwater sardine scenery. You should try scuba diving or free diving or even snorkelling at least. The water wasnt the clearest when se did the dive but amazing spot to dive and see hundreds of thousands of sardines Spot a turtle or two as well!!

We do the sardines run right after turtles watching. We met four big turtles and a school of sardines. What an awesome experience!! The best time to go is at 7am-8am. You can hired guides and rent a Gopro to do this excursion only for 600php per person. Do not book with your hotel. It’s usually quite pricey. You can find many services around the compound. Yes you must visit this place! Period!
