Frampton Farm offers children a full day of outdoor fun, animal activities, games, crafts, and practical learning during the school holidays. Designed for children aged five to twelve, the six hour session gives young visitors the opportunity to spend a full day on a working farm while developing new skills and creating memorable experiences with animals.
The day begins at 9am with arrival at the cabin, where children meet the farmers and other participants. A health and safety briefing follows before the group prepares breakfast for the animals. Children then meet and feed the animals and take part in different farm tasks under guidance from the farm team.
After a morning drink and snack break, the activities continue with more animal interaction and practical tasks. At noon, full day participants enjoy lunch and playtime in the field. The afternoon brings a variety of activities, including games, time in the horticulture area, and creative crafts, offering children a balanced mix of learning and recreation.
The full day session runs from 9am to 3pm and is designed as a drop off activity. Drinks are part of the experience, while children should bring their own lunch and snack. The farm is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility, so comfortable footwear and practical clothing are recommended for the outdoor activities.
