Frankie was an absolutely outstanding tour guide. His expert knowledge and insight into the history of Pompeii brought the ancient city to life in a way I’ve never experienced before. He blended fascinating historical facts with just the right amount of humour, keeping the entire group engaged and entertained from start to finish. What really stood out was how easy he made it to stay focused, I felt completely immersed in the tour, hanging on to every word he said. He took the time to answer questions thoughtfully, made sure everyone could hear and follow along, and had a real gift for storytelling that made the ruins feel alive and relevant. Frankie is without a doubt the best and most enjoyable tour guide I have ever had. If you’re visiting Pompeii and want an unforgettable experience, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Pompeii. The pick up was on time. Unfortunately, for where we were based, it created a long journey to the site. Not the company’s fault. Paulo the driver, was friendly and efficient. Francessa, our guide, was very informative in an amusing way. She was completely honest about only seeing about a quarter of the site, but after 2 hours of uneven footing, it was enough for us. We arrived at opening time and it was busy, when we left later, it was heaving. Definitely wear comfortable footwear and take plenty of water. Beware of mosquitoes and try and get a day with cloud cover.
We had a fantastic experience with the Enjoy Pompeii guided tour this summer! We were a family of 10 travelling together, and they were extremely accommodating with transportation, and tour size. We were lucky enough to have Franky as our tour guide. He was incredibly engaging, informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made sure we were stopping in shaded areas to discuss some historical pieces, while cracking jokes along the way to keep the energy up. Great tour and covered a lot on the 2 hour tour (which was perfect for the hot summer day). Guide Anna was brilliant, very informative, and considerate of the tour group. The site can be busy and many visitors, but the tour took great efforts to make sure we saw everything without crowding with other groups. Optional to stay longer was offered and the travel to/from Naples was very convenient. Highly recommended. Thank you
Franky (Francesco) was a phenomenal tour guide. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he also made the tour very fun, interesting and he constantly had us laughing. The Roman city of Pompeii is absolutely breathtaking and the stories and history behind it are even more incredible. We had a lovely air-conditioned shuttle ride to and from Pompeii and also had the chance to look around some shops in the area too. I highly recommend this tour; definitely ask for Franky to be your tour guide!
