A truly essential stop when visiting Jajce! The Jajce Fortress offers arguably the best panoramic views of the entire town, including the Pliva waterfall and the surrounding hills. The climb is very manageable but does have a fair amount of steps. There was no wait to enter when I visited on a weekday. Take your time walking along the walls—the historical significance of this place is palpable. Don't forget your camera; the photo opportunities, the 360 views are incredible Entry 5 km
Many stairs to climb to reach the place. Nice view of the town from up there. No special contents in the fortress, basically a wall surrounding a green space. There are two locked rooms within those walls. Entry fee is cheap.
