We begin our private desert adventure at any time of the day, heading first toward the village of Khamlia, home to a community of Black Moroccan people known for their rich cultural heritage and captivating Gnawa music. Here, you'll have the chance to sit back and enjoy a live performance of traditional rhythms, passed down through generations. After this soulful experience, we continue our journey off-road, crossing the desert tracks toward the historic Mifis mines, a site once known for its mineral extraction. The ride across desert stones and rugged terrain offers a thrilling perspective of the Sahara's diverse landscapes.
After about 30 minutes of driving through this striking environment, we stop in the heart of nomad territory to enjoy a refreshing tea break. This is a special opportunity to meet local nomadic families and gain a deeper understanding of how they manage to live in such a harsh climate—especially during the intense heat and sandstorms of summer. You'll witness their hospitality, resilience, and way of life far from modern comforts. After this enriching encounter, we return to the original meeting point, wrapping up a 3-hour immersive desert experience.

Review: Our experience in Merzouga was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and organisation were top-notch. Riding camels through the golden dunes of the Erg Chebbi Desert was like stepping into a different world. Watching the sunset from the top of a dune was breathtaking, and the night spent under the stars in a traditional Berber camp was unforgettable. The evening was filled with delicious local food, music, and even some stargazing. The guides were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing stories about the region’s history and culture. We also got to try sandboarding, which added an extra layer of fun to the adventure. If you’re looking for a true desert experience that combines adventure, culture, and tranquility, Merzouga is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking to connect with Morocco’s wild beauty!

We had the most amazing time, it was truly such a treat. The whole trip was well organised, the food was great (although we ate a lot of meatballs!) And most places were gluten free aware although it would have been great if the tour company could have for warned places a celiac was coming as communication was difficult. There's a lot of time in the car but it's so worth it and don't forget your swim suit! The Sahara is something I'll never forget and would definitely do this tour again in a heartbeat if the opportunity arises. A++++

A movie-like experience! We had two incredible days accompanied by our guide Mohamed. We saw beautiful landscapes during the trip and slept in a dream camp in the desert. I would repeat it a thousand times. A special thanks to our guide Mohamed, who made the trip worthwhile.

The Meezouga desert was so beautiful !! I loved seeing the stars so pure and meeting all these great people on my solo adventure!! I will surely go back one day. See you soon Morocco 😍

Our trip to the Sahara desert in Merzouga was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Totally worth it! All the guides and the locals were very nice and did a great job.
