This is not Chianti, and it’s not Montalcino—this is Irpinia, a land with a unique soul, rich in authenticity and tradition. Unlike typical tours, this experience is led by a driver who is also a professional sommelier, guiding you through an immersive journey into the heart of Campania’s wine country. You’ll walk through the vineyards, touch the grapes, breathe the scent of fermenting wine straight from freshly opened oak barrels, and taste exceptional wines right in the fields where they’re born. The tour includes a visit to a winery to sample prestigious DOCG wines such as Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo, and Taurasi. After the wine tasting, we head to a local cheese factory, much like a traditional farm, where fresh ricotta and the iconic caciocavallo await. The final stop takes you to a salami factory to witness live production and savor the best Prosciutto in all of Campania—crafted in the hills of Irpinia.

Antonia and Marisa were AMAZING! We enjoyed their hospitality and LOVED the tour and pizza making experience. Their food was delicious! They treated us like family and we can't wait to do it again. Thank you Antonia and Marisa for opening your home to us!

★★★★★ A Taste of Irpinia Heaven: Cortecorbo is Pure Magic! Our visit to Cortecorbo in Montemarano was not just a wine tasting; it was a deeply authentic, heartwarming plunge into the best of Irpinia tradition. This winery offers an experience that truly earns every one of its five stars, flawlessly combining world-class Taurasi wines with the unparalleled warmth of a family home. The heartbeat of Cortecorbo is the incomparable Antonia, the host we were lucky enough to meet. Far more than just a winemaker, Antonia is the soul of the estate and truly the most adorable grandmother you could hope to meet. She welcomed us with open arms, making us feel instantly like long-lost relatives. Her legendary cooking—from the hand-made Maccaronara al Ragù to the tender ravioli—was rustic, spectacular, and the perfect pairing for the powerful Aglianico reds. Her devotion to family history and the land is evident in every dish and every story she shares. Guiding us through the complex world of Taurasi DOCG was Aldo, the cosmopolitan. With impeccable style and an encyclopedic knowledge of the region’s terroir, Aldo elevated the tasting from a simple drink to an educational and deeply enjoyable journey. He effortlessly connects the rich, centuries-old traditions to the modern palate, explaining the nuances of their flagship Antyco and the dedication behind the Anthonia Campi Taurasini. Aldo’s sophistication perfectly balances Antonia’s down-to-earth grace, creating a dynamic duo that makes the visit unforgettable. Cortecorbo represents the ideal Italian winery experience: exceptional wine, incredible food, and the kind of genuine hospitality that stays with you long after you leave. If you are anywhere near Campania, this is a required stop. Go for the wine, stay for the family. Visit them at cortecorbo.it.

What an amazing day! Everyone was so welcoming. They are passionate and knowledgeable about their business. The day was so special from harvesting and stomping grapes, delicious food and great company. The wine is amazing. They even shipped to the US for us. This experience is a must do! Thank you Antonio and family!

If you do one thing on your visit to Southern Italy, do this! A motor tour of the beautiful vineyard of Corte Corbo,a pizza making lesson, a fabulous antipasto with fresh, locally sourced foods, a four course, to-die-for luncheon, and stellar Corte Corbo wines to complement each course! Best of all, your hosts are Antonia and Aldo. If you don’t adore Italians already, you will after meeting these two. Antonia is the Italian mother everyone wishes they had, and Aldo is a cosmopolitan dude who speaks fluent Mandarin, English, and a bundle of other European languages. They both extol food that is local, pristinely fresh, and elegantly simple. The festivities are held in Antonia’s beautiful, rustic country home, her family’s for generations. First there is the pizza making lesson, with a few wine tastings. They deftly correct our mistakes and it’s on to the groaning board of fresh antipasto! We put our individual pizzas, each different, into the stone wood-fired oven. They come out spectacular! But there’s more! An elegant four-course luncheon with more delicious wine. And Antonia’s light-as-air, rich Tiramisu! And plenty of first-rate conversation with the other guests, a wonderful family of six. It actually hurt to say good-bye. I want to see these people and dine with them again! You will too. Go to Conte Corbo! Two pals Suzanne Sayko Byrne and Rita Hines

If you’re visiting Italy and want a truly authentic, heartwarming, and unforgettable experience, do not miss Corte Corbo Winery. Out of an incredible trip filled with beautiful sights and amazing food, our day at Corte Corbo was hands-down the highlight. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. Antonia and her son Antonio were the heart and soul of the visit—so warm, passionate, and generous with their time and knowledge. They shared the story of their family’s land, their grapes, and their traditions with such pride and sincerity that you could feel the love in every glass of wine and every bite of food. The pizza-making and lunch were such fun and memorable experiences. The wines were absolutely exceptional—elegant, rich, and deeply tied to the region’s soul. Each tasting was paired with local bites that perfectly complemented the flavors, and the views over the vineyard were just breathtaking. Antonio’s explanations (and guitar playing) were excellent. More than just a winery visit, this was a personal connection—a glimpse into a family’s love for their craft and their culture. Corte Corbo is not just a place where wine is made— it’s a place where memories are made.
