EFAW+F Peebles

Our Forestry First Aid Efaw plus F courses are designed for forest workers, fencing contractors, arborists, stalking teams, civil engineering crews, and recreational hunters working in rural or remote environments. These courses focus on real life emergencies commonly faced in forestry settings, including severe bleeding from chainsaw injuries, effective use of tourniquets and trauma dressings, crush injuries, suspension trauma, hypothermia, and managing casualties until help arrives. Participants also gain awareness of Lyme disease and practical guidance on maintaining safety in challenging outdoor conditions. Special emphasis is placed on communication methods when mobile signals are unavailable, including the use of personal locator beacons and satellite devices.

As a trusted provider aligned with Forestry Commission standards and a member of the Forest Industry Safety Accord, our training reflects deep understanding of the forestry work environment. Courses are delivered with a strong practical approach, often outside the classroom, and tailored to meet specific workplace risks.
