The experience visits emblematic markets including Mercado do Bolhão and carefully chosen venues where guests taste more than a dozen distinct flavours from classic cod fritters and bifana sandwiches to regional wines and artisanal olive oils. Along the way the guide explains local recipes and food traditions helping participants understand Porto’s gastronomic culture. The tour finishes at Canto Cooking’s kitchen and orangerie with a pastel de nata and coffee or a tasting glass of Port. Optional wine purchases from the curated Magical Wine Machine are available for those who wish to continue exploring Porto’s wine heritage.

The tour is designed for small groups allowing a personalized and high quality experience. Guests under eighteen must be accompanied by a paying adult and vegetarian and gluten free diets can be accommodated with prior notice. Not all tastings are suitable for vegans or guests with specialized diets and any alcohol for underage participants is substituted with soft drinks. Flip flops and open toe shoes are not recommended.
