Eating out at Lau Pa Sat is almost always a highlight. The food is usually excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. Dining in the "Satay Street" ist just fun. What could be improved is the cleanliness of the dishes. It is also a pity that many hawkers do not provide a buzzer if one has to wait for a dish.

It's a really huge hawker centre that's serves a diverse selection of cuisine from many different cultures. It's nice to see many expats from many countries enjoying their meals at the hawker centre situated in the Central Business District.

What a unique place. Holy heck it got busy from 7pm onwards. Closing a street to traffic and putting out tables to accommodate the eaters. If you like Asian food, fresh and tasty, this is the place to go.

The satay experience at Lau Pa Sat is simply unforgettable — a true slice of Singapore’s street food culture. As soon as the sun sets and the grills light up, the air fills with that irresistible smoky aroma of spice and charcoal. I ordered from Best Satay Stall No. 8 — the chicken, beef, and shrimp satay were all excellent. The meats were juicy and well-marinated, with that perfect char from the grill. The shrimp satay was especially good — plump, sweet, and cooked just right, paired perfectly with the rich peanut sauce. It’s vibrant, crowded, and a little smoky, but that’s exactly the charm. Great food, lively energy, and a fantastic night-out experience under the city lights.

Amazing variety of food and such a lively atmosphere! We went multiple times during our stay and always had a great experience—tried grilled seafood, Korean dishes, Chinese classics, and more. Every time, the food was delicious. The setting is very cozy and comfortable, with a traditional market-style vibe where you simply grab what you want from a stall and enjoy it anywhere in the hall. Outside, the street transforms into an open-air dining area in the evening, which is super nice with a great view of the city’s skyline—it’s really something special. Very much suggested if you want to enjoy authentic flavors in a unique and vibrant environment. A must-visit food destination in Singapore!
