Very nice place.. Flowers are blossming between end of March to end of April. But they have amazing products

April is the harvest season and this damask rose farm at jabal al akhdhar was in full bloom. the host was very hospitable and he explained the process of flower harvest to rose oil extraction. Good time for the family. Kids will enjoy the rose farm. There is a swing in the middle of the farm that was photogenic. Plan an early visit around 8.00a.m to experience the cool breeze mixed with rose aroma and to avoid scorching heat. There are olive trees bordering the farm. Little lavendar, onion, apricot, grapes, garlic, and some seasonal flowers are also added charm in the farm to refresh from our mundane city life.

A must-visit gem in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar! I had an unforgettable experience at the Rose Water Distillery in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar. The farm is home to three types of roses, including the rare and exquisite Sultan Qaboos Rose—a truly unique and majestic variety. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ahmed Al-Sakri, the owner, whose deep knowledge and passion for roses made the visit even more special. He walked us through the entire rose water extraction process with great care and insight. The quality of the rose water is top-tier, and they also offer a range of essential oils that smell absolutely divine. I picked up three of them, and both my partner and I enjoy them daily. This place is not only beautiful but also rich in culture and tradition. I highly recommend adding it to your itinerary—you won’t regret it!

It was a good experience to see the Rose garden and the process of making rose oil and water here. Location is just ahead of Dusit D2 hotel.

Such an amazing place to visit. We went in off season, yet the plants had a good lot of roses, sunflowers and various others. Though small, the garden is kept very well. When you visit the demonstrative rosewater / rosemary water plant, they will explain about the procedures and also can purchase rose and rosemary water and oils along with some other herbal oils. The rose water is used to make Amouge they said, so the garden is maintained/sponsored by the company The entry is 2 Rials (we three went) Don’t forget to check the Sultan Qaboos rose
