Witness one of nature’s most awe-inspiring events with this unforgettable total solar eclipse experience in Reykjavík, where you'll have the rare opportunity to observe the Moon fully covering the Sun. For one breathtaking minute, daylight will transform into twilight, revealing the magnificent solar corona – the Sun’s outer atmosphere – a sight visible only during totality. This natural phenomenon will cast the Moon’s shadow across iconic Icelandic landscapes, making Reykjavík one of the prime global locations along the narrow path of totality. During this moment, it’s safe to remove protective glasses to admire the full spectacle, while the partial phases before and after require safety eyewear, which will be provided to all participants.

Our expert guides will enrich the experience with insightful commentary and facts about the eclipse, turning the viewing into both an educational and emotional journey. With the unique Icelandic scenery as your backdrop, the celestial event becomes even more magical. Protective eclipse glasses are included for your safety, and guests are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing and sunblock due to variable weather conditions. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary celestial alignment — secure your spot in advance for a once-in-a-lifetime viewing experience in one of the most scenic eclipse destinations on Earth.

Seeing the northern lights has always been a dream of mine. I was quite nervous about whether I would actually be able to see them because I'm only here in Iceland for 4 days and Monday (my original booking) had an overcast sky, I was able to move my booking to Tuesday and we hit the jackpot. Although there is no guarantee you will see the northern lights, there are some things you can do to increase your chances of seeing them. (1) Check the weather forecast! Cloudy skies will obscure your vision even if the lights do come out. (2) Check the scale that rates the electromagnetic activity. The closer the rating is to 9, the more likely you will see the Aurora. The northern lights become visible from around 3! (Especially as north as Iceland within the proper season!) (3) Bundle up! It's very cold at night, and seeing the lights involves a lot of patient waiting. Think multiple coats, 3+ pairs of socks, gloves, and blankets! (4) Turn the flash off your phone. In order to see the lights clearly, you need your eyes to be fully adjusted to the dark *and* flash will mess with how well you can photograph the lights.

Great trip. Crew is friendly, and the marine biologist on board was very informative and knew his stuff. You are prewarned if weather conditions forced cancellation, and you warned that whales may not be seen. In my case on a baby humpback was seen. Captain of boat ensured that the boat was close enough to see the whale whilst not disturbing the animal too much. I thorough recommend this tour

Great experience. We didn't see anything up close, but managed to see some minky whales and one humpback for a couple of seconds. The trip was made better by the funny tour guide who cracked jokes left right and center. He definitely elevated the experience. We got to hold whale bones and went away knowing much more about the whales that visit Iceland.
