Embark on a tour full of vibrant colors and rich Mexican identity as you explore some of the most iconic and culturally significant areas in Mexico City. Begin with a visit to the impressive campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), known for its striking architecture and murals created by renowned Mexican artists. From there, continue to the tranquil canals of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you'll board a colorful traditional boat called a trajinera and float along the ancient waterways that once supported pre-Hispanic agriculture. As you cruise through the beautiful floating gardens, enjoy the festive ambiance filled with the sounds of mariachi music and the sight of blooming flowers and local vendors.
Next, the tour takes you to the charming neighborhood of Coyoacán, once home to legendary artists and writers. Walk along its cobbled streets shaded by old trees, and soak in the colonial-era charm that gives this area a timeless character. Coyoacán’s vibrant art scene and bohemian atmosphere have made it a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. As part of your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to see La Casa Azul (The Blue House), the former home of iconic painter Frida Kahlo. Although entrance tickets to the museum are not included, it is highly recommended to purchase them in advance from authorized sellers due to limited availability. This tour offers a colorful, cultural, and historical experience that truly captures the soul of Mexico.

1000000 stars! Omar was amazing- so knowledgeable about the museum and the history of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. He as kind a funny and the whole visit was a lot od fun.

I have used this tour company (chill n Go tours) through “tiqets” app twice now. I used them the first time to go and visit the Fridah Khalo house and then just last week to visit Diego Rivera’s Anahuacalli museum. I decided to use them a second time because tour with the guide was so much more enriching than going without one. The tour guides really know their history and I think many of them have studied art history or history here at the University of Mexico. Therefore, the tours are filled with really interesting information you wouldn’t have going alone. I would definitely recommend using Chill n Go tours while you visit Mexico City. The guides are kind, knowledgeable and professional.

What a magical place! This experience exceeded my expectations—beautiful and inspiring. Mauricio was a great guide; knowledgeable, flexible, and kind. He also gave us recommendations for other architectural sites to visit. Highly recommend!

I booked a Frida Kahlo and Rivera Diego house and studio tour. The tour was very informative. Omar is a passionate and very knowledgeable guide. I learnt a lot about the architecture, history of the houses and the artists. Highly recommended.

My visit to Frida Kahlo's museum arranged at short notice was a great success. Cinthia was my tour guide and she did an amazing job. Her manners in telling the story was refreshing. In the shirt time available, she managed to give us a lot of useful and thought-provoking information. My visit to Mexico City was short but this trip was one of its highlights. Cintia got in touch immediately after I had bought my ticket, responded to all my queries and was punctual and efficient. Great tour guide.
