These preserved iron horses, maintained and operated in Georgetown and Silver Plume, have been delighting visitors for generations and offer a picturesque journey through some of the most scenic landscapes in the state. The open-air cars allow for a full immersion in the crisp mountain air and breathtaking surroundings, providing ample opportunities for photographs and moments of reflection along the winding tracks.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to collect physical tickets from will-call, as boarding requires them in hand. Due to the high elevation, it is recommended to stay hydrated and dress for changing weather conditions, as the coach cars are open to the elements. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and infants ride on laps or in body carriers, with strollers and car seats not permitted on the train. While every effort is made to adhere to the published schedule, the Georgetown Loop Railroad reserves the right to make adjustments or cancellations if necessary, and locomotives or passenger cars may be subject to change.
