The tour introduces visitors to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and historic neighborhoods. Highlights include the Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Magoki Attori Mosque, and the traditional trading domes where merchants once exchanged goods from across Asia and beyond. Each location tells stories of scholars, traders, and rulers who contributed to Bukhara’s reputation as a center of knowledge, commerce, and cultural exchange.

The exploration continues with visits to magnificent architectural landmarks that showcase the city’s artistic and spiritual legacy. Guests can admire the Ulugbek Madrasah, Abdulazizkhan Madrasah, and the impressive Kalyan Minaret, which has stood as one of Bukhara’s most recognizable symbols for centuries. The route also includes the Miri Arab Madrasah, offering insight into the region’s rich religious traditions and architectural achievements.

The walking experience concludes with a closer look at Bukhara’s royal and religious heritage through sites such as the Ark Fortress and the grand Kalyan Mosque. I had an absolutely fantastic local tour in Bukhara today with our amazing guide, Guli! She was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything in detail, sharing tons of fascinating stories, historical fun facts, and local legends that brought the city to life. She answered every single question we had – no matter how small – with a smile and so much enthusiasm. We managed to visit most of Bukhara’s key attractions, from the stunning Ark Fortress and the majestic Kalon Minaret to the historic trading domes, madrasas, and hidden gems around the old town. The whole experience felt super relaxed and informal, like exploring with a knowledgeable friend, yet it was packed with interesting insights and laughter. Guli made the history feel alive and the day truly unforgettable – hands down one of the best tours I’ve ever had!

What a lucky day to have Sunny crossing our paths and have a private tour with her. Sunny was an incredible guide! She was, with no doubts, the best guide we had in our 11 days trip in Uzbekistan. She’s knowledgeable, intelligent, interesting, kind. She asked our main interest and showed us Bukhara in the best way. We did history, culture, art craft and she also recommend us nice things to do the day after. I totally recommend Sunny and I wish you can be lucky as us to have her as your guide! Besides that , the company was super nice and flexible. The group tour was full and they offered us a private tour with affordable price. Was a really good experience since the beginning!
