Aspiring boaters can take their first step toward independent navigation through a comprehensive Navigation License course designed for participants aged sixteen and older with the required authorization. Spanning six hours, the program combines two hours of classroom-based theory with four hours of practical instruction on the water, offering a balanced introduction to safe and responsible boating.

During the course, students receive essential training in navigation rules, vessel handling techniques, and maritime safety procedures. Instruction also covers the correct use of personal watercraft and the legal responsibilities associated with operating small vessels. The qualification permits daytime navigation on boats up to six meters in length within two nautical miles of a port, marina, or sheltered area, using engine power in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
