I had an amazing time at Otro Modo Surf Camp. The instructors are very professional, friendly, and really take the time to guide you, especially if you're a beginner. Safety is a big priority, which I really appreciated. They teach you some theory on the beach, help you get the basics and before you even realize it, you're already in the water practicing. They pick you up wherever you're staying, and they provide you with a wetsuit and a board that fits your level and the day’s conditions. Everything is well taken care of. The classes are well-organized, and they adapt to different levels. I did feel dizzy during the first session, but the team was very understanding and gave me tips to help overcome it. One amazing instructor even gave me his own earplugs. Gaspard you are truly a legend🙌 and thanks to that, I could fully enjoy my surfing time.🌊🏄🏻 They also offer fun evening activities like pizza nights on the beach and beach volleyball, which were a great way to connect with others and enjoy the relaxed vibe.🍕🏖️ Highly recommend Otro Modo if you want to learn to surf in a safe, supportive, and fun environment in Fuerteventura. I had an incredible time during my first ever surf lesson! From start to finish, the experience was fun, safe, and super informative. The instructor, Gaspard, was knowledgeable, patient, and full of positive energy, making it easy to relax and enjoy learning. They explained the basics clearly, helped with technique, and gave encouraging feedback the whole time. The location was beautiful, the equipment was in good condition, and everything was really well organised. I went from never being on a surf board to gliding on one to my first real wave—and it felt amazing! Highly recommend Otro Modo to anyone, whether you’re a total beginner or just looking to sharpen your skills. I left with a huge smile and can’t wait to do it again in a near future!
Awesome experience! Gaspard was our instructor and let me tell you, the most patient human being. For real though, they take the time to really instruct you on the fundamentals rather than just throwing you in the water to figure it out. They also deliberately instruct, making time for each student. 10/10 highly recommend! Also pictures from Carlos that were offered were a plus!
