Experience the joy of visiting our farm and meeting over two hundred dogs and pups throughout the year. Guided farm visits are a central part of our safaris but can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone activity in both winter and summer. Walk-in visitors and tour groups are welcome to explore the farm while learning about the daily lives of our arctic huskies. Tours begin in the recuperation area near the house, where dogs on medication or requiring extra care are temporarily housed. Here, visitors are introduced to various breeds such as Siberian huskies, Alaskan huskies, Nenet Laika, and Taimyr, while learning about their unique characteristics and what they are best suited for. This initial introduction provides insight into the care, attention, and expertise required to manage and nurture these working dogs.
Discover the rich culture and history of the sport as the tour continues down to the farm, where visitors meet the dogs in the clean and well-maintained kennels. Guides share valuable information about the life and training of arctic huskies, including their diet, seasonal routines, and medical care. Every tour offers the delightful opportunity to meet and play with any pups present, creating memorable interactions and hands-on experiences. Visitors can enjoy socialising with the dogs after the tour, offering treats available for purchase while observing the lively and friendly greetings of the dogs, especially during quieter summer periods. Tours are offered in multiple languages, including English, German, Finnish, and occasionally French or Spanish, allowing for a welcoming and informative experience for international guests. This guided visit offers a unique chance to connect with the dogs, understand their world, and enjoy a personal and engaging farm experience.
