We recently went on a trip to Segovia and Ávila, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Both cities are absolutely beautiful and full of history. Segovia impressed us with its famous aqueduct, charming streets, and lovely atmosphere. Ávila was also amazing, especially its old city walls, which are very well preserved and truly unique. Walking around these cities felt like stepping back in time. Our guide, Mr German, made the trip even better. He is very helpful, friendly, and professional. He knows a lot about history and shared interesting information with us throughout the whole journey. He explained everything clearly and made sure everyone understood and felt included. Whenever we had questions, he was always happy to answer and give extra details. You could really see that he enjoys his job and cares about the people in his group. The trip was well organised, relaxed, and enjoyable. We never felt rushed, and everything went smoothly. It was a great way to learn about Spanish history while also enjoying beautiful places and views. We were totally happy with this trip and had a very positive experience overall. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area and wanting to see Segovia and Ávila in a comfortable and informative way. It was truly worth it.

While the overall trip was good, and the town of Toledo is great, this tour was a bit of a let down compared to my others in Spain. Firstly, we spent the first 30-40 minutes in the town at a shop which to me seems a very obvious tourist trap. I get companies have to make their money but I didn’t like immediately being sold to before getting an experience. Secondly, I am a native English speaker but took my tour in Spanish because I am improving my language skills. The guide (can’t remember the name) bald head with glasses, was rather unhelpful when I had questions about the meeting spot and didn’t want to have patience for someone who spoke Spanish as second language. I had to receive help from a fellow tourist. Also, there is no headset included. Doesn’t seem like a big deal but you have to stand less than a meter from the guide to hear anything. Most other tours include this. Something to note. Overall, fine. But there are much better Toledo tours out there. The town is still extremely beautiful.

I had the chance to try out VPT for my southern Spain (Andalusia) trip and was not disappointed. VPT staff timely communicated our day to day itinerary and checked on us everyday. We were 8 in our group and had no problem with our transportation. Although the minivan (Ford Tourneo) was a little bit tight, it was comfortable enough for 2 hour long drives. What made the road trip bearable was our driver, Mr. Tribak Mohssine, who made sure we were all comfy and get to stretch our legs and have coffee breaks every so often. He anticipated everything you could think of, like offering neck pillows to passengers who snoozed in between stops. He would also volunteer to as a tour guide and drive you to stops that are not included in the itinerary. We commend VPT for having assigned us a gem of a driver in Mr. Tribak Mohssine. Will definitely consider VPT again in future EU trips.

Our day trip to Segovia and Ávila was amazing! The Roman aqueduct, Alcázar, and Ávila’s medieval walls were all breathtaking. Our guide Herman made the history come alive with his knowledge and enthusiasm. And the famous suckling pig in Segovia was absolutely delicious—crispy, tender, and a true highlight. Highly recommend!

The driving to Toledo and Segovia was smooth. The guide for Toledo talk to much and the first stop that they used for sale take to long so you can’t really see the city because of the hills it’s a lot of walking so you need time. The lady guide for Segovia was very weird she said something in Spanish and something else in English I speak both so I got confused went I asked for clear instructions she get upset I will never use again this company en Madrid
