Very nice small distillery in the heart of Dublin. The tour took a total of around an hour and a half and we tasted 5 whiskeys and a gin with the legends pass. The grounds are very nice and the tour guides very knowledgeable. Asking questions is key to really getting the most out of the tour as the initial script so to speak sticks to the basics. The distillers are more often present in the morning if asking them questions is important to you. Overall worth a visit and a couple nips.
I visited Pearse Lyons Whiskey Distillery almost by accident while walking around the area with friends, and it turned out to be a great experience. I’m not the biggest fan of the brand, so I had no particular expectations going in. We were simply curious about how whiskey is produced, and the visit exceeded all expectations. The tour was engaging, informative, and very well presented, making the whole production process easy to understand and genuinely interesting. The location itself is beautiful and adds a lot of character to the experience. Everything felt well organised, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. A great experience overall, even if you’re not already into the brand. Highly recommended.
My husband and I had an amazing tour at Pearse-Lyons Distillery. We were the only ones so it was like our own private tour. Bernhard(sp?) and Alix(sp?) were very friendly and knowledgeable and they made the whole tour a great experience. We tasted 3 different whiskies and 1 of their gins, which was surprisingly good. The restored church is breathtaking and so worth the visit. We left with some “souvenirs” to enjoy back at home.
